Provision Opens First Data Center
Provision Data Services opened its first data center at 2020 Live Oak St. in downtown Dallas. An unnamed Fortune 500 telecommunications company has 10,000 square feet as the anchor tenant at the 137,000-square-foot, 12-story data center.
Less than three years ago, the office building on the eastern edge of downtown Dallas was acquired at foreclosure for $10 million by Westdale Properties. The previous owners, who acquired the tower in 2008, had defaulted in a $13.4 million loan with United Central Bank.
“Our vision for Provision Data Services is to provide best-in-class infrastructure technology for Fortune 500 enterprises to small independents,” said Clay Hill, chief executive officer of Provision Data Services. “Dallas-Fort Worth is the hub of connectivity for U.S. bandwidth, with users and cloud providers seeking flexible environments with access to internet-worked connectivity and reliable operations.”
