Riley X ditches CA for new 65K sf Frisco HQ

Protective Eyewear Firm Wiley-X Opens New HQ in Frisco

After 35 years, Wiley X has taken the well-worn path from California to Texas. Wiley X recently opened its new headquarters in The Star Business Park in Frisco.

The 65,000-square-foot building is an all-in-one facility; from a large production, assembly, and warehouse space to a testing facility for safety certifications, as well as all the administrative and office space. The building also features the first-ever Wiley X flagship retail store, which will open in 2024 for customers the world over.  Wiley X is veteran-founded and has sold protective eyewear to the U.S. military since the business was founded in 1987. Wiley X also has a long history of providing eye protection to outdoorsmen and first responders.

The Frisco Economic Development Corp. approved a $371,800 performance agreement with Wiley X for the company to relocate its operations to Frisco. This will create 88 full-time jobs, which will be a combination of those relocating from California, and creating new jobs in Frisco as well.
