Proptech Firm Equiem Names New Leader for North America

Global proptech firm Equiem has named Richard Morell as EVP of business development for North America. He’ll be based at Equiem’s Midtown offices.

“As we continue to advance Equiem’s presence across the globe, Richard will play a key role in developing strategies to execute our business expansion goals in the U.S. and Canada,” said Gabrielle McMillan, CEO and Co-Founder of Equiem.

With two decades-plus of real estate and business development experience, Morell was previously head of business development for Equiem’s Australian operations from 2013 to 2014.

“The modern workforce believes that it is as much the landlord’s responsibility to facilitate an appealing, community-centric environment as it is their employer’s,” said Morell. “I value the opportunity to rejoin the Equiem team, as we are on the cutting edge of empowering building owners to effectively and seamlessly engage with their tenants.”
