Prologis to Debut 1st Building of Many at Proposed 5M-SF Cypress Industrial Park

Prologis signed a lease with Enchanted Rock for a 407,302-square-foot space at 18501 Mound Road in the Houston suburb of Cypress. The company produces natural gas power generators and microgrid systems.

The Houston Business Journal reports it’s the first building that will be completed in the Legacy Point industrial park, which is envisioned to house up to 11 warehouses totaling about 5 million square feet along U.S. Highway 290 between Fry and Mueschke roads.

The building broke ground in February 2025 and is expected to be delivered next month. It was designed by Seeberger Architects, and Burton Construction served as the general contractor.

Robert Alinger and Wes Williams of Colliers represented Prologis in the transaction with Enchanted Rock. The microgrid company currently has a 114,800-square-foot facility a few miles down the highway at 20702 Hempstead Road, which it also leases from Prologis.

Prologis expects to start construction this month on the next building, an over-1 million-square-foot cross-dock warehouse, to be followed by two more buildings spanning more than 500,000 and 400,000 square feet.

Legacy Point is expected to be built out over the next five to seven years.
