Prologis Picks Up Fry’s Occupied Asset in Anaheim
Prologis acquired a 144,000-square-foot retail building occupied by Fry’s Electronics in Anaheim, CA. Located at 3370 E. La Palma Ave., the property sits on a 12-acre lot. Fry’s Electronics has leased the space since 1995 and will continue to occupy the building.
Prologis’ Darren Kenney, vice president and investment officer, says, “We believe this has great long-term potential for various uses including distribution and e-commerce.”
The site, along the 91 Freeway, is zoned for industrial and was previously occupied by Rockwell International Corporation.
A team from CBRE led by Bob Steinbock represented the buyer. Steinbock says, “This was a very smooth, all-cash transaction that truly benefited all involved parties.”
