Prologis planning 5M SF industrial park in Cypress

Prologis Eyeing 5M-SF Cypress Industrial Park

Prologis Logistics Real Estate is planning for over 5 million square feet of industrial space at the 350-acre Prologis Legacy Point property off Hwy. 290 and Fry Road.

The site will cater to retailers, manufacturing, distribution, and energy companies and could ultimately bring 2,000-3,000 jobs to the community.

Community Impact reports that a company spokesman says the growth of the Houston port has been a major driver of the region’s industrial sector. Work on the area’s infrastructure is expected to take place over the next few months, with construction to begin in 2025.

Prologis currently advertises the site for build-to-suit buildings ranging from 200,000 to 1.3 million square feet, potentially allowing for eight buildings, adding up to 5 million square feet available.
