Prologis Divests 12-Building Carson Industrial Portfolio
San Francisco-based Prologis sold the 12-building, 450,000-square-foot Carson Industrial Center in Carson, CA to an undisclosed institutional real estate manager; parties involved would neither disclose the sales price nor the cap rate.
The nearly 22-acre infill site, located on Del Amo Blvd., is fully leased to 19 tenants, including Sourcecorp BPS, Coast Wire & Plastic Technology, and Illumination International. The single-story, free-standing structures range from roughly 13,000 square feet to nearly 88,000 square feet in a master-planned business park environment.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Jeffrey Cole, Jeffrey Chiate and Ed Hernandez represented the seller, and secured the buyer. Cole says, “Institutional-quality industrial assets, especially in groupings of this size, rarely come online in South Bay.”
