Prologis Commences Construction on Vernon Business Center

Prologis commenced construction on two Class A industrial facilities in Vernon, CA totaling more than 346,000 square feet. The buildings, which are anticipated to be completed in the fall of 2019, are located at 5215 S. Boyle Ave.

Located in the heart of L.A. County and its roughly 10 million residents, Vernon features roughly 56 million square feet of industrial space. The site provides easy access to key freeways, DTLA, LAX, and the Ports of L.A. and Long Beach

NKF’s John McMillan, Jeff Sanita, Danny Williams, and Greg Stumm are handling leasing for the project.

McMillan says, “New construction is extremely rare in this area as land is very hard to come by. Additionally, Vernon is one of the lowest cost cities in the county to do business in for industrial occupiers. All of this bodes well for attracting a wide variety of occupiers for this project, and especially e-commerce companies hunting for “Last Mile” locations.”
