Prologis Buys Lanham Warehouses for $200M, Part of $3.1B Portfolio

Prologis Inc. has acquired an industrial warehouse cluster in Lanham, Maryland, part of a larger deal with Blackstone-affiliated real estate funds, as reported by Washington Business Journal.

The approximately 712,000 square feet of warehouses were purchased for $199.4 million as part of a $3.1 billion, 14 million-square-foot industrial portfolio acquisition.

The Lanham warehouses are situated on over 60 acres east of New Carrollton and the Capital Beltway’s interchange at U.S. Route 50. This acquisition aligns with Prologis’ growth strategy and its focus on the “Essentials” tenant services platform. The Lanham site offers potential for expansion.
