Prologis Buys 17-Acre Coney Island Site for $51M
Prologis has acquired 2731 West 12th St., a nearly 17-acre undeveloped land parcel in Coney Island, Brooklyn., from National Grid for $51 million. The site, once a former manufactured gas plant, underwent environmental cleanup in 2008, and National Grid no longer uses it for operational purposes.
The JLL Capital Markets team that arranged the transaction included Brendan Callahan, Gabrielle Harvey, Hall Oster and Ethan Stanton, Jordan Yarboro and Braedon Gait. Prologis was represented in-house.
“It’s rare to have the opportunity to re-position such a large parcel of raw land inside of New York City, particularly in a location that is nearly equidistant to all major airports, Manhattan, Queens, Long Island and New Jersey,” said Oster.
Connect Industrial Midwest 2024 will take place on March 5, 2024, at Joe’s Live in Rosemont, Illinois. Click here for more information and to register.
