Prologis Appoints Kurt Nelson as VP, Market Officer for Portland

Prologis has appointed Kurt Nelson as Vice President, Market Officer for the Portland, Oregon, market.

In his new role, Nelson will oversee the company’s 7.2 million-square-foot regional operating portfolio, as well as team talent and customer engagement. With over 20 years of leadership experience in the commercial real estate industry, Nelson’s expertise spans leasing, asset management, and capital deployment across the industrial, office, retail, and mixed-use sectors.

As Market Officer, he leads leasing, operations and portfolio expansion strategy for Prologis’ 57-building portfolio, which spans the Airport Way, Northwest Portland, Rivergate, Tualatin and Clackamas submarkets.

Most recently, Nelson served as a vice president at Swift Real Estate Partners, where he drove the company’s Pacific Northwest expansion. Prior to that, he served as Vice President, Acquisitions and Capital Markets at Schnitzer Properties, where he unified the company’s acquisition operations.
