Prologis Acquires Rare 11-Acre Industrial Site in Commerce for $41M
Prologis purchased an 85,000-square-foot industrial facility set on 11.24 acres in Commerce, CA from AT&T Inc. for a reported $41.4 million. The property is located at 2420 Yates Ave., close to a densely-populated area. It is rare for low coverage sites of this size to become available in this market that carries a vacancy rate hovering at 2%.
Prologis’ Darren Kenney says, “With the vacancy rate at 2% in the central submarket, demand is strong for high-quality industrial real estate.
Kidder Mathews’ Jon Reno, SIOR, CCIM, Trevor Gale, SIOR, Mark Vanis, and Connor Ulf represented the buyer. Cushman & Wakefield’s Roger Gage represented the AT&T in the sale-leaseback.
“The site at Yates Avenue is an exceptional find, and we worked quickly with Prologis to capitalize on this off-market transaction,” said Reno.
