Project Transitions Acquires Acreage for AIDS Housing
Project Transitions acquired just over an acre of land at 8007 Burnet Rd. in Austin. The company, which provides supportive living services and hospice care to those living with HIV and AIDs, is planning a 60-plus affordable housing project, along with supportive housing services, for those diagnosed with HIV and AIDs.
Troy Martin with NAI Partners and David Stojanik with the Kucera Cos. represented the buyer in the transaction. Special Agent Group’s Neil Stokes negotiated on behalf of the seller, Austin-based 8007 Burnet Holdings LLC. According to Martin, Project Transitions will demolish the existing building on the site. The 20,000-square-foot building was once a group home known as Zoe’s Safe Space.
