Private Equity Firm Expands at SL Green’s One Vanderbilt
SL Green Realty Corp. announced that private equity firm Sentinel Capital Partners has signed a lease expansion covering 7,134 square feet on a portion of the 54th floor at One Vanderbilt Ave. The expansion increases the tenant’s total commitment within the building to 34,737 square feet.
“We’re proud to expand our valued relationship with Sentinel and support their growth by more than 25 percent at One Vanderbilt Avenue,” said Steven Durels, EVP and director of leasing and real property at SL Green. “This transaction is another example of the strong leasing momentum we’re seeing at the building and across our portfolio.”
SL Green recently announced it has signed 130 Manhattan office leases totaling 1,794,126 square feet year to date. The REIT’s current office leasing pipeline has also increased to more than 1.0 million square feet.
Sentinel Capital Partners was represented by Brian Waterman and David Waterman of Newmark. SL Green was represented in-house.
