Private Equity Firm Expands at Seagram Building
Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R) signed a lease to expand its presence at RFR’s Seagram Building by 12,773 square feet. The global private equity firm now controls three full floors on a long-term basis in the Midtown landmark at 375 Park Ave., totaling 60,000 square feet.
In addition to CD&R, global alternative investment manager Strategic Value Partners relocated within 375 Park and more than doubled its occupancy to 7,817 square feet. Also, Beijing-based Springs Capital signed a new 4,479-square-foot lease, representing its first North American office.
AJ Camhi and Paul Milunec of RFR represented ownership in the lease transactions. Newmark Knight Frank’s Andrew Sachs and Ben Shapiro represented CD&R. Strategic Value Partners was represented by NKF’s Brian Goldman and Matthew Lorberbaum, and Springs Capital was represented by Savills’ Evan Margolin and Jack Orlan.
“We continue to see leaders in the financial community chose the Seagram Building,” said Camhi.
