Prism Releases Block of Rentals at Edison Village Redevelopment

Prism Capital Partners has released the last remaining block of new apartments at the Residences at Edison Lofts, within the 21-acre Edison Village redevelopment in West Orange, NJ. The project is a redevelopment of Thomas Edison’s historic Invention Factory and Commerce Center.

“Edison Lofts has evolved into a vibrant community,” said Prism’s Edwin Cohen. “We are seeing continued demand for brand-new product, and because we have introduced the community in phases, we are still able to offer ‘never-lived-in’ homes.”

The newly released apartments include studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom residences in the reimagined 100-year-old factory building.

According to Cohen, Edison Lofts’ lifestyle amenities strengthen its competitive advantage in the current climate. “With so many professionals working from home, and a strong likelihood that remote or hybrid schedules will continue, luxury apartment communities like Edison Lofts have become the latest ‘live/work/play’ settings,” Cohen said.
