United Hospital Fund (UHF) honored Priscilla Almodovar, a leader in New York’s housing industry, at its annual gala October 3, 2017.

“Priscilla has shown an unwavering commitment to creating healthier and stronger communities in New York and throughout the country,” said Anthony Shih, president of UHF.

Almodovar is managing director and co-head of real estate banking for J.P. Morgan Chase. She has served as president and CEO of New York State’s Housing Finance Agency during a period when the state financed almost 11,000 units of affordable housing. She also served as managing director and head of community development banking at J.P. Morgan Chase.

Earlier this year, Fortune Magazine named her one of the “50 Most Powerful Latinas”.
