Principle Wraps Build of Spec Batavia Warehouse

Principle Construction Corp. completed a speculative warehouse construction project for Midwest Industrial Funds at 1100 N. Raddant Rd. in Batavia, IL.  The 102,140-square-foot property includes 97,040 square feet of warehouse space and 5,100 square feet of office, which can be divided among two tenants.

“This far west suburban building is showing that demand for high-quality industrial space is spreading farther along the I-88 corridor,” said Principle COO Mark Augustyn, “The speculative project provides a good opportunity for tenants looking for mid-size modern space.”

The building features 10 dock positions with space for an additional 10 positions to be added in the future, two drive-in doors, 30’ clear height ceilings, LED lighting, ESFR sprinkler systems and a 60 MIL roofing system.

Augustyn was the principal on the project. Principle’s Jon Anderson acted as project manager, while the firm’s Dennis Crawford served as superintendent. Harris Architects provided design services.
