Plaza del Sol Shopping Center, a Primestor development in South El Monte, recently announced the ground breaking for two traffic-drawing tenants.

Construction is now underway on Starbucks, and frozen-yogurt chain Menchie’s, at the 130,000 square feet shopping center, and both stores are expected to open next summer.

Plaza Del Sol is located on San Gabriel Valley’s Durfee Avenue corridor. Its anchor tenants are CVS, Marshall’s and Superior Supermarket.
