Primestor Development, the Los Angeles-based shopping-center owner that focuses on Latino consumers, has started renovations on Palm Glen Shopping Center in Phoenix. Primestor acquired the asset last year.

The 177,754-square-foot remodel involves the replacement of signage and facades, as well as the interiors of some stores, including the anchor tenants. Primestor’s goal is to make the center more pedestrian-friendly. It’s scheduled for completion prior to the end of this year.

Palm Glen Shopping Center is currently anchored by Hispanic grocer Food City, and also counts Dollar Tree and Wells Fargo among its tenants.
