Prime West Breaks Ground on Another South Denver Tower

Denver-based Prime West Cos. plans to develop a 15-story office tower at 6900 Layton Ave. in south Denver. The 380,000-square-foot building is part of the a 51-acre Belleview Station transit-oriented, master-planned development.

The tower is 40% pre-leased to Newmont Mining Corp., which plans to relocate its HQ from Greenwood Village into four floors in the new property. The project, located at Interstate 25 and Belleview Avenue, is slated for completion in summer 2020.

Partners Group is the towers’ capital partner, while Cushman & Wakefield is handling the leasing assignment.

Prime West also developed the 310,000-square-foot One Belleview Station, where The Western Union Co. took HQ space. Belleview Station is planned to include 2.2 million square feet of office space, 300,000 square feet of retail and 1,800 residential units, as well as one or two hotels, and five acres of plazas and open space.
