Primark to Open Second Store in Maryland at Mall at Prince George’s
International clothing retailer Primark will open its second store in Maryland at the Mall at Prince George’s in Hyattsville. The company has also signed a lease to open its third store in Virginia at the Fashion Center at Pentagon City in Arlington.
The Hyattsville Primark will occupy more than 30,000 square feet of retail space. The opening at Prince George’s comes on the heels of Primark’s new flagship store in New York and its fifth opening in Texas.
“We’ve seen the demand for quality fashion that doesn’t break the bank at our stores in Maryland and Virginia, and we’re thrilled to reach more area shoppers than ever before with our opening in Hyattsville this May and with the intent to open in Arlington soon thereafter,” said Kevin Tulip, President of Primark US. “Both just minutes from the nation’s capital, we’re also excited to provide those in D.C. with even closer proximity to our amazing quality and prices.”
