Presidio in Cedar Park has New Anchor: Alamo Drafthouse

Alamo Drafthouse signed a lease for 45,000 square feet to kick off the second phase of Presidio in Cedar Park, a master-planned community north of Austin. The theater is scheduled to break ground in spring 2019, with opening anticipated for summer 2020. The development marks Alamo Drafthouse’s seventh in the Austin metro, and the first location outside of the Austin city limits.

The theater will be situated on 17 acres at Ranch Trails and Parmer Lane. The second phase will also offer an additional 45,000 square feet of retail, with Travis Robertson and P.J. Kaminer with the Retail Connection handling marketing and leasing of the MPC’s retail component. Cordova Real Estate Ventures, in conjunction with Riverside Resources, is developing the second phase’s retail component.

The Presidio development’s first phase opened in 2017, and includes 25.5 acres with office and retail space, Mandola’s Italian Kitchen and loft-style apartments.
