Presidio Bay Ventures Adds New Life Sciences Development on Peninsula
Just down the peninsula is San Carlos (home of a worthy, annual beer-and-wine festival). It’s also an up-and-coming life sciences hub. Presidio Bay Ventures is meeting that demand with the development of a 147,000-square-foot life science project on 777 Industrial Rd. in San Carlos, according to a news release.
The campus will be a revamping of Primo Honda San Carlos dealership into the new, four-story building. The campus, per the release, will be exclusively listed for tenant leasing by Cushman & Wakefield’s Marc Pope and Ben Paul.
The City of San Carlos approved the redevelopment plan back in June 2021 with a unanimous vote. Other firms involved include the architect (from the release):
The building is designed by a partnership between Stanton Architecture and DES Architects & Engineers and is specifically tailored towards research and development with a heavy lab component, including life science and biotech, food tech, agricultural tech, auto tech, drone tech, robotics, among other users from a design and functional perspective exclusively focused on mission-critical infrastructure.
“With 777 Industrial Road, we’re proud to partner in planning with the City of San Carlos and showcase our long-term commitment to the broader community,” said K. Cyrus Sanandaji, Founder and Managing Director for Presidio Bay Ventures.
