Presidio Bay Launches Multifamily Project in Outer Mission

Bay Area-based development and investment firm Presidio Bay Ventures has launched Ventana Residences, the first and largest project built using San Francisco’s innovative HOME-SF affordable housing initiative. Located in San Francisco’s Outer Mission District, 48 of Ventana’s 193 residences will be dedicated as affordable.

“We are proud to develop a project of this scale that is also addressing the city’s housing shortage,” said Presidio Bay’s K. Cyrus Sanandaji. “We have worked to ensure that Ventana Residences will provide the community with a high-quality, socially activated and family-oriented offering that will inspire residents for generations to come.”

The construction of the complex created more than 500 jobs, utilizing 100% union labor and will begin pre-leasing early next year. Ventana will offer studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom units with community amenities that include a butterfly sanctuary, a co-working space, fitness center, music room, two rooftop terraces and a Pet Spa.
