Augmented Reality App by Prescriptive Data Wins $15k Hackathon Prize
Technology company Prescriptive Data won the top $15,000 prize at the Hackathon Gauntlet Challenge for its Augmented Estate mobile app. The app creates a “heads-up” display to visualize real-time data from building controls systems and building sensor data overlaid on real built environments.
The Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) announced the prize at its “Real Estate Tech and Innovation Expo” held at KNOTEL at 655 Madison Ave. in Midtown Manhattan in Feb. 2018.
The prize announcement is the culmination of the $35,000 Hackathon Gauntlet Challenge, which began at the weekend-long REBNYTech Hackathon during #NYCRETechWeek in October 2017. Six other teams won $2,500 in cash apiece.
