Premium Waters to Locate Operations in Mississippi
Private-label water bottling company Premium Waters Inc. has decided to locate operations in the 462-acre J.C. McDonald Industrial Park in Hinds County, MS, near Jackson. The company will invest $25 million in building a 210,000-square-foot facility, with the end result an additional 42 jobs.
The facility will house the company’s water bottle manufacturing and filling operations. The Mississippi Development Authority is assisting with infrastructure and site improvements, while Hinds County is providing public infrastructure improvements.
Premium Waters plans to begin construction shortly, with production anticipated to begin in spring 2017. The company is headquartered in Minneapolis, with production and distribution facilities throughout the Midwest, Tennessee, Georgia and Texas.
