PREMIER Design + Build Launches Cold Storage Warehouse on Long Island

PREMIER Design + Build Group recently broke ground on a new cold storage warehouse facility in Hauppauge, NY for Stonemont Financial, a privately held real estate investment and development firm, and tenant GlacierPoint Enterprises, one of the largest direct store delivery distributors of ice cream, fresh and frozen products, beverages, and more. This location will serve as GlacierPoint Enterprises’ national headquarters.

The project includes constructing a 34,000-square-foot cold storage warehouse, a nearly 9,000-square-foot office and a loading dock. It’s the first cold storage project for PREMIER on Long Island.

“We’re confident in our ability to deliver this cold storage warehouse in the New York market,” said project manager John Poje. “We’ve delivered a number of cold storage facilities in other parts of the country and we’ve finished many projects of various types in New York and New Jersey.”

The project is expected to be completed in November 2025.
