Preferred Office Properties Snags 300K-SF Office Tower in Raleigh
Atlanta-based Preferred Office Properties has acquired CAPTRUST Tower, a 16-story, 300,389-square-foot office tower in Midtown Raleigh. The sales price was not disclosed.
Built in 2010 by Kane Realty Corp. and Duke Realty, the property is fully-leased to a tenant roster that includes CAPTRUST Financial, PWC, Wells Fargo, Wasserman, Insight Global and Kilpatrick Townsend. Retail tenants on the ground floor include World of Beer, Cowfish and Yard House. The building was the first office tower to deliver in North Hills, which is known as Raleigh’s second CBD.
Ben Kilgore, Chandler Hawkins, Will Yowell and Patrick Gildea of CBRE represented the sellers, KBS Realty Advisors and Kane Realty, in the transaction.
