Prebuilts Drive Flurry of Leases at RFR’s 17 State

RFR Realty’s 17 State St. in Lower Manhattan has seen no fewer than five new leases in the past few days. Two of them—for the Monetary Authority of Singapore and nonprofit Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI)—were pre-leases for the new prebuilt floor on 17 State’s 35th story.

ThinkEquity, LLC leased part of the 22nd floor on a long-term basis., while Trnity Place Holdings took space on the 21st. Reinsurer AM RE Syndicate signed up for a prebuilt on the sixth floor.

Foundry Commercial’s Andrew Hawkins and the Gochman Group’s Michael Gochman represented the Singapore central bank. Colliers International’s Eric Ferriello and Stan Wiel advised RMI; their colleague Richard Warshauer spoke for Trinity Place. Tom Reilly of Thomas P. Reilly & Co. represented ThinkEquity and Interrelate Group’s Michael Bolton advised AM RE.

RFR’s AJ Camhi and Ryan Silverman, along with JLL’s Mitchell Konsker, John Wheeler and Clayton Kline, represented ownership.
