Pre-leasing Begins for Boutique Rental in Buena Park

Pre-leasing has gotten underway at Hazel Place, a 15-unit boutique rental community under construction in the Buena Park neighborhood on Chicago’s North Side. Dating from 1901, the three-story brick building is being renovated by Chicago-based Arbor Investment Management LLC, which has retained Spaces Real Estate to lease it.

“When this property was built in 1901, it was one of the first luxury apartment buildings in Buena Park, so it’s a landmark within the neighborhood that has been reimagined for a new generation of renters,” said Spaces founder Bentley Phillips.

Among the renovations to Hazel Place is the addition of a rooftop deck with pergolas and grilling stations. Arbor Investment’s Sam Goldman noted that the property is “optimally located in the heart of one of Chicago’s most popular North Side neighborhoods, just a half-mile from the lakefront, so we wanted to take full advantage of that by adding the rooftop deck.”
