Praedium Makes Apartment Buy in Minneapolis’ North Loop

The Praedium Group has acquired the newly-constructed Maverick North Loop Apartments in Minneapolis. It’s located within the city’s North Loop, an area popular with young professionals as well as tech- and creative- focused office users.

“Maverick’s desirable North Loop location offers residents connectivity to nearby North Loop retail and entertainment options, as well as major employers in the CBD, evidenced by the property’s 94 Transit Score and 93 Walk Score,” said Chris Hughes, managing director of New York City-based Praedium.

The surrounding Twin Cities metro area has the fourth lowest unemployment rate among large U.S. MSAs. In the fourth quarter of 2017, it ranked first among U.S. apartment markets for average occupancy, and ninth in annual rent growth for new residents, according to RealPage.
