PR Services Firm Cision Downsizes in West Loop Sublease
Public relations services company Cision is downsizing its headquarters and moving to the West Loop, reported Crain’s Chicago Business. Cision has agreed to sublease a 24,851-square-foot office at 300 S. Riverside Plaza from health care consultancy Evolent Health.
Cision will relocate its headquarters there next year from One Prudential Plaza in the Central Loop, where its lease for around 52,000 square feet is due to expire at the end of January. The deal typifies two major trends in downtown Chicago’s office market: companies reducing their office footprints and taking advantage of a record amount of move-in ready offices available for sublease.
Logistics company TransLoop and lender Twin Brook Capital Partners are among the tenants that recently signed deals to sublease downtown offices, reported Crain’s. CBRE’s William Sheehy and Brian McDonnell negotiated the 300 S. Riverside sublease on behalf of Cision.
