Portland’s Broadway Tower Office Development Sells for $133M
The office condominium interest in Portland’s 19-story, newly-constructed Broadway Tower has changed hands in a record deal reportedly in the neighborhood of $132.5 million. Principal Real Estate Investors acquired the 430,000-square-foot mixed-use tower at 1455 S.W. Broadway from BDC/Broadway Office LLC.
The transaction did not include the 180-room Radisson RED Hotel component. The LEED Gold-certified asset is 99% leased to such tenants as Amazon, Markowitz Herbold, Cable Huston and Lawyers’ Title.
NKF’s Nick Kucha, James Childress and Jeff Hodson represented the seller, along with Kevin Shannon and James Ikeguchi. The buyer was self-represented.
Kucha says, “Broadway Tower is one of the most successful ground-up developments in the city’s history, and is a prime example of high-quality real estate attracting high-quality tenancy.”
The high-rise office tower was developed by BPM Real Estate Group in 2018, and has 11 floors of Class A office space with exclusive decks on the top three floors.
