Portland-Area Based Home Improvement Company Moving HQ to Austin
It’s not just mega-national companies like Tesla, Oracle, and Hewlett Packard who have moved their headquarters to Texas. Mid-sized home improvement company DaBella Exteriors will be moving a large number of it’s 1,000+ workers to Austin. They’ve closed on the purchase of Anderson Tower in Austin for its new corporate headquarters, leaving Hillsboro, Oregon behind.
Recently renovated, the property is a six-story office building totaling 75,034 square feet.
DaBella CEO Donnie McMillan said he was influenced by Texas’ central location, with swift access to both coasts. Austin’s topography and abundance of outdoor activities was also a factor in the family-run business’ decision, “Our core purpose is to care for families and their homes. We strive to provide the best customer experience and the best environment for our growing workforce.” The company was founded in 2011 and now has 37 locations in 14 states. Whitebox Real Estate represented DaBella in the sale.
