Porter, Texas Site for New Shopping Center
Construction has begun on the La Market de Porter shopping center located at the intersection of Highway 59 and FM 1314 in Porter.
The 36,500 square foot project is expected to be completed by the end of this year. The center will include a 10,000 square foot Teloloapan grocery store and a 3,000 square foot bakery, which will serve as the anchor for other business, such as Ostioneria Michoacan Seafood Restaurant and Peruvian restaurant Pollo Bravo. Other businesses to be located in the center include a medical office and laundromat.
American Realty Group is developing the site. Porter is about 30 minutes north of Houston. Supermercados Teloloapan is a Houston-based chain with 13 stores, 11 in Houston.
