Porter Lake Crossing Looks at Service Tenants for Leasing

Porter Lake Crossing Leasing Targets Med, Ed, Fitness, Service Tenants

Pre-leasing is underway for Porter Lake Crossing, a planned retail center located at the intersection of Porter Lake and Stockdick School roads in rapidly growing northwest Katy. The center, which will incorporate three multi-tenant buildings and a 6,000-square-foot pad site, will total 40,130 square feet upon completion.

Construction on Porter Lake Crossing is scheduled to begin next month, with the first building expected to deliver by fall 2022. The developer is The Woodlands-based Cornerstone Development Group.

Sarah Thobae and Kyle Knight with Weitzman are the project leasing representatives for the center.

“Porter Lake Crossing offers expanding concepts a great opportunity to access rooftops and population growth, and our leasing is targeting medical, educational, fitness and service-oriented tenants like salons, pet care and dry cleaning with a focus on quick-service dining, coffee and frozen treats for the endcap spaces,” says Thobae.

The center is surrounded by dozens of new subdivisions including two of the largest and fastest-growing subdivisions in Katy, Elyson and Morton Creek Ranch. An additional 16,000 households are anticipated for Katy by 2030, with the majority of growth in the northwest quadrant. The average household income totals $103,303 within a three-mile radius of Porter Lake Crossing.
