Port San Antonio Signs MOU with American Triple 1 Partners

Port San Antonio is moving ahead on plans to develop on-site facilities. Specifically, the Port entered into a pre-development agreement/memorandum of understanding (MOU) with developer American Triple 1 Partners LLC to begin construction on the innovation center in the middle of the 1,900-acre campus on San Antonio’s southwest side.

Also on tap will be a second facility at the Port’s Project tech complex. The new building would provide office space for defense and private-sector cybersecurity and other technology employers, which serve the regions military operations and commercial clientele.

The MOU established a 120-day pre-development period, during which additional design and feasibility research will be conducted. Based on the outcome, the Port and Triple 1 could formalize separate agreements for phased construction of the two projects.
