Port of LA & Earthcam Partner for Harbor Livestream Project

The Port of Los Angeles has partnered with camera technology company Earthcam to provide 24/7 streaming services for its LA Waterfront live camera. Located on the roof of the Maritime Museum, the camera replaces the Port’s older webcam with an upgraded 4K camera that streams in high resolution and shares panoramic views from the center of the Port’s Main Channel.

Considered America’s Busiest Port, the northern Earthcam view of the Port of Los Angeles shows City of Los Angeles Fire Department Station 112, the USS Iowa, Vincent Thomas Bridge and the Wilmington Clock Tower. The southern view shows Terminal Island, the Outer Harbor and a portion of the San Pedro Promenade.

Viewers can see real time scenes that may include cargo and cruise ship arrivals and departures, tug, tour and fire boats as well as active marine wildlife. Click here to view the LA Waterfront live camera on the Port’s website.
