Porsche to Develop 200K-SF Dealership

Construction is scheduled to begin in early 2019 on a $40 million, 200,000-square-foot Porsche dealership in northwest Austin. The new location, at 10000 Research Blvd., will replace the luxury auto company’s current dealership on East Huntland Drive.

Dirt work is currently underway on the site, which will eventually hold a seven-story building containing a parking garage, showroom, service and parts area and enough space for 350 cars. “It will be one of the largest new dealership facilities being built in the country,” Hi Tech Motorcars’ Kirk Franceschini told the Austin American-Statesman. Hi Tech Motorcars is one of the largest luxury automotive dealer groups in Central Texas. Franceschini said the new dealership should be open in January or February of 2020.

He added that the dealership outgrew its current location and needed more space because of the Austin market’s anticipated growth.
