Pool Supplier Re-Ups for 125k SF at Colony NorthStar Industrial

Phoenix-based Leslie’s Poolmart, the world’s largest retailer of swimming pool and spa supplies, has renewed its lease for 125,000 square feet at Colony NorthStar’s 320 Industrial Dr. in the suburb of West Chicago, IL. A NKF team including Jerry Jacobs in Phoenix ,and locally-based Adam Marshall and Mark Deady, represented Leslie’s. CBRE’s David Prell advised Colony NorthStar.

“Leslie’s was looking to re-assess its strategy and create a more efficient space,” said Marshall. “We were able to work with the landlord, Colony NorthStar, Inc., on our client’s needs and in the end we were able to agree on a tenant improvement package to achieve Leslie’s initiatives.”

Founded in 1963, Leslie’s currently markets its products via 940-plus store locations in 35 states, a mail- order catalog and e-commerce. The company employs approximately 4,500 associates across the country during peak season.
