Pontikes Secures $65M in Financing for Logistics Center
Pontikes Development secured $65 million in construction financing for the first phase of its Port 10 Logistics Center, near Port Houston in Baytown, TX. The first phase will consist of four buildings totaling 992,669 square feet, which will be situated on 100 acres. Upon completion, the project at Interstate 10 and Thompson Road will have eight buildings, totaling 3 million square feet, over an additional 146 acres.
Paul House, James Brolan and Jonathan Paine with JLL arranged for the financing. First Tennessee Bank provided the first lien, and Nationwide offered mezzanine financing.
“This strategic location is a vital starting point for logistics delivery throughout southeast Texas, and provides a concentrated location for Port Houston’s primary outbound container trade with Latin America and Asia. We continue to see investors seeking to invest into the area’s multi-modal logistics hub,” House said.
