Pollack Shores to Build New Apartment Complex Near The Battery Atlanta

Multifamily developer and investment firm Pollack Shores Real Estate Group plans to build a new $60-million, 281-unit apartment community overlooking The Battery Atlanta, the 1.5 million-square-foot mixed-use development anchored by SunTrust Park.

The planned five-story, 315,000-square-foot apartment project will rise on the site of the former headquarters for Genuine Parts Company, and will be within walking distance of The Battery. Plans for the property include a sky lounge with views of The Battery and SunTrust Park, as well as a pool courtyard with outdoor living rooms, hammock groves and a flex lawn space. The community will feature one, two and three-bedroom units ranging in size from 700 to 1,400 square feet. Pollack Shores will break ground on the project this month, with first units scheduled to deliver in early 2021.

Pollack Shores recently sold three luxury apartment communities it developed at The Battery for $156 million in October to Atlanta-based multifamily investment and management firm Cortland.
