Polish Developer Cavatina Announces First Seattle Project
Cavatina, Poland’s leading office and residential developer, has unveiled its first Seattle project as the company plans to enter the Pacific Northwest market. The proposed 13-story, 173,000-square-foot multifamily project is located at 2729 Second Avenue in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood.
The plans include 5,000 square feet of ground-floor retail and one level of below-grade parking. The modular apartment building will be constructed from prefabricated components manufactured in Poland. Chicago-based firm Epstein is the project architect, and Cushman & Wakefield advises Cavatina Group.
“We have had the pleasure of working with the Cavatina Group for years in the Polish market, and now we can not only cheer for their development overseas but also support them together with Cushman & Wakefield’s Seattle Team in land acquisition and administrative matters. Seattle, with its high demand for residential sector growth, is an ideal place to introduce the PRS project,” says Krzysztof Misiak, Head of Cushman & Wakefield Poland.
