PODS Signs Full-Building Lease in Central San Jose

CBRE arranged a full-building 104,400-square-foot lease to PODS Enterprises, LLC, a distributor of portable storage units, at 1959 Monterey Rd. in San Jose. CBRE’s Brian Matteoni and Ian Halker represented the landlord. Lease terms were not disclosed.

“Industrial users continue to focus on facilities that offer efficient loading, modern clear heights, and access to major transportation corridors,” said Matteoni, EVP at CBRE. “This lease reflects continued demand for well-located, freestanding industrial buildings in San Jose.”

The 104,400-square-foot industrial building sits on 5.34 acres in Central San Jose and was built in 2001. The building features 28‑foot clear height, 23 dock-high doors, five grade-level doors, and approximately 3,000 square feet of office space. The warehouse includes ESFR sprinklers.

Located near U.S. Highway 101, Interstate 280, and State Route 87, 1959 Monterey Rd. offers regional connectivity throughout the South Bay and the greater Bay Area.
