Podolsky Circle Steers Medical Transport Tenant to Renewal

Podolsky Circle CORFAC International represented MedEx Ambulance Service in a 17,080-square-foot, long-term lease renewal at 1001 S. Des Plaines St. Founded in 1998, MedEx now provides medical transportation services to hundreds of healthcare facilities throughout the Chicagoland area.

Podolsky principals John Homsher and Steven Tick represented MedEx in renewing its lease. Jeff Gerling of Paine Wetzel Commercial Real Estate represented the property’s ownership, JP Morgan Chase Trustee.

“We have represented MedEx in several leases and renewals over the years, and we are happy to again assist our client by arranging this long-term renewal with advantageous deal terms,” said Homsher.

1001 S. Des Plaines St. is a 40,000-square-foot, two-tenant industrial building. The property allows for interior vehicle storage, drive-through capabilities and a secure outdoor parking area for MedEx vehicles.
