PMB Tops Out MOB Near San Jose’s Bascom Station

Healthcare real estate developer PMB and Santa Clara Valley Healthcare (SCVH) topped off construction on a 10-story, 230,000 square-foot medical office building at 1410 S. Bascom Ave. in San Jose. The future Valley Health Center San Jose location provides county residents with accessibility to a wide range of healthcare services and helps to catalyze SCVH’s MOB into the pedestrian-oriented mixed-use neighborhood.

VHC San Jose is part of a mixed-use development at the VTA Bascom Station light rail stop along Southwest Expressway, north of Los Gatos Creek. It’s within walking distance for more than 11,000 households and within a 10-minute drive for more than 90,000 people.

PMB and equity partner Harrison Street acquired the office component of VTA’s “Bascom Station,” a mixed-use 230,000-square-foot office and 590-unit residential master plan, in June of 2022. Both projects are currently under construction.
