PMB Joins Forces with Dignity Health for 2nd Phoenix-Area MOB

San Diego-based PMB is building a second medical office building (MOB) on the Dignity Health Mercy Gilbert Medical Center campus in Gilbert, AZ. Mercy Gilbert Medical Plaza II, a three-story, 80,000-square-foot MOB in southeast Phoenix, is expected to open by early July 2019.

Phoenix Children’s Hospital will anchor the building, and has committed to roughly 56,000 square feet of clinical and administrative space. Programs will include a hematology/oncology infusion clinic, gastrointestinal clinic, endocrinology clinic, orthopedic clinic; ear, nose and throat clinic; and general surgery.

Dignity Health, which recently merged with Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and now operates as CommonSpirit Health, is expected to occupy roughly 9,000 square feet of clinical space. The building is currently 100% committed with signed leases or letters of intent.

The MOB, which will support the entire Mercy Gilbert campus, features tilt-up panel construction; a large enhanced entry canopy; stone and exterior insulation and finish system embellishments; carports planned for photovoltaics panels; and an elegant cantilevered steel parapet cap.
