Plans Unveiled for Renovation of 1.4M-SF Westfield Annapolis Mall

The owner of Westfield Annapolis mall, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW), has announced plans to renovate and improve the 1.4 million-square-foot mall in Annapolis as well as add new tenants.

The plan includes the conversion of the mall’s 110,000-square-foot former Lord & Taylor department store into a shopping district filled with boutiques, home design stores and experiential offerings. The new section is expected to open in 2021. Additional plans for the renovation include a new pedestrian gallery as well as a 40-foot architectural exterior entrance.

In addition to the renovations, URW has signed a number of new tenants that include Rodizo Grill and Retro Fitness. Restaurants and retail shops at the mall will remain open through the entire renovation process.
