Plans Set for Carter Distribution Center, Phase 2
Crow Holdings Capital-Real Estate and Rob Riner Cos. announced plans to develop the second phase of South Fort Worth’s 800-acre Carter Distribution Center. The four-building speculative development at Joel East and Oak Grove roads will include a 394,000-square-foot and 294,000-square-foot cross-doc facility, and two 187,000-square-foot front-load facilities.
The development plan also calls for expansion of Joel East and Oak Grove which will, in turn, improve trucking access to Interstate 35 W and Interstate 20. Construction will begin in Q1 2019. Matt Carthey and Thomas Grafton of Holt Lunsford Commercial will oversee marketing and leasing of the asset.
Carter Distribution Center’s first phase at 6633-6657 Oak Grove Rd. includes two buildings, one measuring 270,282 square feet, and the other at 218,282 square feet. “Phase I totaled 488,554 square feet in two cross dock facilities, and leased within six months,” Carthey said. “We expect the same momentum moving into Phase 2.”
